Conflict in Colombia
A police officer stands guard in a sandbag bunker on a street junction. Saravena is one of the most dangerous places in Colombia. The police station was attacked with homemade mortars 85 times in one year. Assassinations, sniper attacks and bombs are almost daily occurrences.
