Conflict in Colombia

A mother and daughter play in a swimming hole near Puerto Asis, Putumayo. Many rivers in the region have been polluted by chemicals used in the ariel fumigation of coca plantations. The chemicals seep through the soil and contaminate the water, contact with this water can cause skin and eyesight problems.
