The population of the city is split between the Turkomans, Arabs and Kurds, it is one of Iraq richest oil regions and every group is keen to grab as big a share as possible.....Abdul Muttarib Jabbar,45 is a Kurd who along with his family have been living in Iran since 1975 when they fled persecution. moving in. Today he and his family unload their possessions ready to start their lives over in Kirkuk.....Galala aged 17 has grown up in Iran she now has to contemplate a new life in what Kurds believe to be their land.
