Iraq/Iran Border Enforcement

30th April 2006..Basra, Iraq..Iraq/Iran Border Enforcement..British soldiers from the 9/12 Lancers work alongside Iraqi Security Forces along the Iraq/Iran border. The task is to combat smuggling of people, weapons and fuel across the river...The 9/12 Lancers are a reconnaisance regiment and are accustomed to working in remote regions with little or no support for many days at a time.
