Lebanon Grape Harvest

KSARA is the largest and oldest winemaker in Lebanon. On 23rd August 2006 the vineyard began it's 149th harvest just a week after a ceasation of hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel. KSARA produces more than 2 million bottles of wine per year with a turn over of more than $8 million. Lebanese wine has been selling well around the world with rumours that many having been buying it to show their support for Lebanon. Restocking has been impossible due to the Israeli naval blockade of Beirut's port.
