Two young Afro Colombian children collect firewood on the banks of the Rio Atrato in Choco, Colombia. They are some of the countries more than 2 million internally displaced. The jungle area around their village is being fought over by both leftwing rebel groups and rightwing paramilitaries. The inhabitants of many villages have fled to Bellavista. This town was the site of a massacre in May 2002 when a homemade mortar fired by FARC rebels exploded on the roof of a church and killed 119 civillians hiding inside.
